Thanks for the respond, too bad not much tube amp that I can audition here besides Woo Audio. Just googling DNA stratus and found out that you have to wait for a year...wow that crazy.
if auditioning is not an option, I would stay with ampsandsound since ZMF recommends them on their website for good pairing with their headphones, but Zach actually recommended me the GlennOTL when I was emailing him about amp pairings to the Verite at an affordable price. Glenn is actually a really nice guy who will answer all of your questions! and I've only heard positive things about his tube amps
You’ll have to wait a bit, but the Glenn OTL is magic, or you can take a look at AmpsandSound, Woo Audio, or Feliks Audio, all offer great tube amps in your budget.
I really didn't think the Mogwai was a good pairing with the Verite. I thought it sounded way too thick and highly colored the sound beyond what I could tolerate. I'm not a neutral-head either, preferring a warm sound, so...
I've heard Zach's Glenn OTL, and that was a very good pairing. Ears I trust also recommend the combo. Even if you went with all the bells and whistles on the GOTL, you're well under the $2k cap as far as I know.
From what I've heard on the grapevine, the ECP T4 is going to be an amazing amp. Might want to wait a bit and see what reviews say on that one. First production units should be shipping very soon.
This might be surprising, but some of the best amps I've heard with Verite were the EC Black Widow 2, Mjolnir 2, Gilmore Lite Mk2, and above all others, the ECP DSHA-3f. (Lots of "2"s in there for some reason.) The DSHA-3F is the best solid state amp I've heard. Period. It's also better than 90% of the tube amps I've tried or owned, and on par with tube amps like the EC Aficionado.
The Mogwai is a warm amp unless you have the right tubes in it. We tuned the Pendant to be much more linear/clean sounding than the Mogwai on purpose to match with our amps, while it's still a touch more euphonic than a DNA or Eddie Current it's not thick and milky at all.

I'm not sure it's listed on the website but we do have 3 meter OFC cables (the stock cable for Verite). If you want a longer cable with your order just email us or leave a note at checkout. I'll go make an option for the longer cable now on the site as well.
No extra cost for XLR or any other termination either.

Feliks' espressivo mk2 arrived 2 days ago and i barely took my aeolus off since then.
I love how they pair, i absolutely reccomend it as a first step in tube amps.

Were at 2 - 5 weeks for any Verite right now. Hoping to be totally caught up in April at some point.
