I have a problem with my Z4.
My battery is melting, so I can't close the back any more.
Do you know where I can find a Nnew battery ?
You can search for a similar battery at Aliexpress. Measure the one you have in your Z4 and check the dimensions before buying. I have found this one, check if it fits the Z4.

You have to unsolder the one it has now and solder the new one to the pads on the PCB. Have you been using your Z4 a lot or for a long time or is it just bad luck that your battery is a spicy pillow? Just curious.

Thanks.
I will order a new battery on Aliexpress, with almost the same size (no more  ) and the same voltage.
Otherwise, I have had this Z4 for 1 year and I use it about 5 hours a week.

New battery received and changed, on Z4.
2300 mah vs 4200 mah, but everything seems ok.

Hi!
You just did the soldering in + and - position?
I did it as well but the Z4 won't turn on anymore :triportsad:

Have you measured the voltage across the battery pins with the new one installed?

I once managed to kill a battery while soldering it onto a PCB. See if the voltage is too low.

Hi! This is my first post. Nice to meet you guys.

I have some problems with my Zishan Z4:

1) Bluetooth suddenly stopped working. Devices can´t find Zishan anymore.

My question is: It is possible (and easy) to fix?

There is a possibility of a damage on Bluetooth chip?

2) Corrupting files

Everytime that I insert the SD card on the Zishan, some tracks disappear or turns into a corrupted file, some unreadeable, others that crashes the system that i have to hard reset my device.

What format i should use? Currently, I am using exFAT.

Sorry for my bad english. That's not my native language u.u

For anybody who got the Zishan Z4, is this power per channel or both channels already combined?

Single Ended 3.5 mm 4Vrms 442 mW 32 ohm
Balanced 2.5/4.4 mm 8Vrms 884 mW 32 ohm

Thanks! Mine is arriving in a few days and curious if it's powerful enough to drive some headphones or should I just stick with flatheads and iems?

Those numbers are pretty stout for a portable player, but it all depends on what headphones you want to use with it.
