The total cost of my Fisher custom TF10 is about $300:
TF10: $100 (Amazon sale last Nov.)
Westone ES cable: $40 (including shipping)
Ear impressions: $50 (in Manhattan. You might be able to get them done cheaper than this)
Shipping to Fisher: $10.5
Fisher remold: $80
O/N shipping back: $18.5 (can be cheaper if you don't mind waiting for 2-3 days longer)

Well I think im gunna buy the SuperFi 5pro and see how I like them, and then get them reshelled If I think its needed. Im not sure when I'm going on this trip but I know I have plenty of time.
I won a trip in an auction for super cheap. $9000 hunt for $2000

I used to do 16 hour flights all the time, the Hong Kong - NYC route is pretty tough. Universals were fine, but I think I only ever did like, 10 hours of continuous listening.
