Hi everyone.
 
I'm a 17 year-old French student so excuse me for my poor English

 
I'm thinking about upgrading from my Klipsch S4. I own a Cowon J3 and I sometimes use my Ipod Touch 2G but I don't have a portable amp. I listen to Indie Rock, Progressive Rock, Hard Rock,... (Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles,...)
 
I've read a lot of threads dealing with high-end IEM. I know in this price range it depends on your preferences but I don't really know how they sound like. I'd better buy iem in hifi specialist shops than on the internet. That's why I haven't picked up the SM3 in spite of their good reputation here.
I've chosen few ones : Westone 3, Sennheiser IE8, Grado GR8, Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10.
 
I have listened to very few headphones : HD595, HD650, SR125i, SR60i, S4, She9850, PX250. I want to have a sound signature and presentation close to the SR125i more bassy (a bit less than HD650) and less harsh. The laid back presentation of the Sennheiser doesn't bother me but I'd rather have a presentation like the Grado. Removable cable and Isolation aren't my main concern but it has to be enough for car travelling especially for the IE8. I have a preference for the Westone 3 but I prefered asking for your opinions before spending this amount of money.
