It all started humbly enough with the HD590, to use with my old soundcard. That lasted about 6 months, when the madness truly begain!

Since then, I've gone through:
Grado SR325
Beyer DT770 (twice)
Senn HD600 (twice)
AKG K271S
Sony CD3000
Beyer DT531

to finally settle on the HD650 for open and the E5c for closed. And now that I've found out the Senns have some kind of chronic paint peeling problem, I'm reevaluating that position

Grado RS-1, second-hand but very nice. Before head-fi, I'd never heard of Grado, didn't buy second-hand, and wouldn't dream of forking out for RS-1's.
