Love : Audio Technica ATH - W5000

Like : AKG K1000 (x3), AKG K340 (x4)

Have : another 6 irrelevant cans collecting dust.

Had : 25+ from $100 up to $1800 I didn't like enough to keep them.

Want : I'm content and there's nothing new and tempting on the market.A spare W5000 maybe.

Added to the list of "haves" Omega II which I am enjoying immensely; ATH-W2002 which very rapidly became my favourite dynamic can. A pair of GS1000’s should arrive today so interesting times ahead.
On the way out to my brother is the RS1 but only after I have done a decent comparison with the GS1000.
Gone HD650 and SR225.
Still want to try a K1000 one day. Would like to own a pair R10’s.

I've pretty much auditioned almost everything out and I've searched long and hard to find a great all around headphone and the HE90s are it...however, like the he90, I think the K1000 is in a special class doing things especially with classical music that is truly special...

Wow, amazing. I didn't realize you actually have 2 R10s. Do you like them balanced better than single ended? No GS1000 Hirsch?

Basically I'm almost done when it comes to headphones, unless I happen to get into electric guitar based rock very heavily in the future (unlikely). After the K701, I'll be focusing on getting a better amp, and then perhaps an external DAC eventually. I also want a ~$100-$150 high end switch box so I can use a couple different sources, I'll get one of those eventually too.
