Wish I had good coffee experiences during our train trips about Scotland & England. No 10% cream in sight. The best we had was in Penzance. I was hopped up on scotch, mind you... Sigh.
BTW, Mousehole was a neat little walking tour (west of Cornwall).

I was there last week, very pretty little village. Had some tasty cake in 2 Fore Street if anyone ends up there.

Sorry to hear this. Only a handful of our trains serve something that resembles filter coffee (can't bring myself to call it pour over!). Each city has loads of average places for coffee which are often the busiest, but there's normally 2 or 3 exceptional places in each city.

If you ever come back, ask for recommendations, or have a look at the site @bosiemoncrieff suggested. The company I work for has me and my colleagues (who are situated regionally) all over the place. Am sure we could suggest decent places. Coffee is one of the things I have in common with my colleagues

I have been getting some Brazilian coffee that is produced by small growers via the Wegmans supermarket chain. Surprisingly good. Really like it.

I found myself out of coffee this morning. Grabbed a nice cup at the Human Bean on my way to the roasters.
no coffee in the morning: terrible experience, like when you still must make your bed arriving home late in the night

If you spill fresh coffee in the bed first (and on yourself) it is not so bad.

There is a coffee shop in the city I come from, Curitiba, that has an amazing coffee selection from microproductors:

I always buy my coffee from them but unfortunately the online shop in English is not working.
I love the ones coming from "cerrado mineiro" region.

Underwhelmed by Wrecking Ball coffee. Baratza Forte for single origin? Jesus folks, get an EK.

Foonote - coffee all measured out for the EK tomorrow morning. Drinking coffee. Let's see if I can do lights out at 9 and 10 hours of majestic sleep.

If it is Sidamo there should be a distinct fruit like overtone to it. I could drink that stuff all day if it would not keep me up all night.
