Ok, bought w4 about 2 years ago, left side cable went out a year ago, sent it to BTG audio to mod to WR and bought a cable from him been using it
got money burning holes in my pocket, price dropped on WR , picked up WR since I already know how much I enjoy W4
So , old pair might need a new home

Got it!  Great! 2 W4r! One is maybe better than the other?  Sound signature willbe different!?  The BTG cable is Silver plated one?  Better thant the westone cable!?
 
Keep both in your home! One for backup ! In case of emergency! You never know!

I actually prefer Magnus 1 cable that Heir sells just more user friendly to me
can not say that I hear a big difference between cables but never really compare
I do not have golden ears and unable to tell subdue changes , good for me
Going to register my WR , this time , so I can get my two year warranty

I dont have golden ear either, and yes, good for me to! am saving! (TWag cable is 150$ US) Maybe Better save for DAC/amp !?

BTG Audio is making me a balance cable so I can use WR with my Intruder . Maybe I might be able to hear the difference like my hd600 SE versus balanced
W4 /WR is definitely a "special IEM" for sure and I have been thru a few

This is the reason have purchaced the W4r, cause is awesome for my ears! Hapy youl like it to!  Sorry, no JDS Labs.  Make a search in head-fi forum about this!

YES, the rice bag didn't work, but by switching the cables I now know it's a cable issue. Thanks a lot

I had the W4s for a while running through my IPC and C5. The C5 doesn't color much as it is a very transparent amp but it certainly added some space and thickness to the low end.

I had both the c421 and c5 and they are both good in respect to use with the westone 4. Imo both are transparent both deliver great sound quality and they are imo worth their price tag. Imo the c421 and c5 are very hard to beat for the price.

Julie Kelly is who I have dealt with and their customer service is top notch. I inquired about the triple flange tips as they didnt come with my 4rs and not only did she send the triples she was going to send a complete set of all tips.

Do you take the inside out of a comply tip and glue it inside those heir tips ?? I'm not sure ??
