I just joined the club as my MKII came in today. Wow. These things are freaking amazing. Straight out of the box they're almost competing with my DT990 in sound quality. I can't believe how crisp the sound is. And to think I was afraid of a lack of bass. The bass in these is beyond perfect. Nowhere near bass head level, but it's just so deep and clean. I finally found a keeper for iems :)

I wasn't wowed as I listened to these but comparing to lower grade IEM's you realize that they have a great soundstage and an overall naturalness.  They don't do everything amazing but they do everything right.

I'm coming from iems like the Brainwavz M3, Beats iems, and various skullcandy iems. Compared to those, these wowed me. While they're not quite as impressive as my 990s, they do a lot for such a tiny package. I'm sure there are plenty that are much much better, but for the price, I certainly can't complain at all. :)

Anyone knows how reliable is this seller? http://www.headphones4.com/VSONIC-GR07-MK2
I want to order from E.U., so as to avoid potential custom issues, and it seems he's the only currently offering the vsonic.

It's a long thread, sorry if this has been mentioned somehow, but anyone who has tried the sennheiser cx870 and these vsonic so he can write some comparison between the two?
I've been a long-time user of the former, and the only thing that I hate about them is the distortion in the sound at high volume (sibilance?). Oh, and the clarity in general too (at low volumes they're pretty good though). I wish I could find some iem that could be at least this comfortable when worn, I have tried fischer audio's eterna and dba-02, but the former yet more comfortable doesn't produce the sound I want (too warm), and the latter is really difficult for my ear to wear it. Plus, it's sound is rather aggresive for my taste.

So, I've now come across the vsonics which I hear they're more natural sounding, and rather comfortable. Hope they're as good as the say if I finally pull the trigger and order them. :)

As if there was any doubt that the GR07 is the king of drums and cymbals. Watch this in 720p:

And you never quite realize how fast the drivers are until you play some metal on them.

More ear porn:

The newest model has "MK2" written beneath "GR07" on the product box...

Read the posts at the beginning of this thread...a couple of guys described some of the changes from the older models when they received their MKIIs.
