Make your UM3x to UM-3w (Unique Melody 3way). It's based on the same drivers. UM-3w come close to W3 in terms of bass quantity but it has way more refined low end and doesn't have midbass hump. Also the midrange is more prominent and highs are crispier.

How much have they cost? The same price of the remould or with added price of the filters?

I'm thinking of sending mine too xD

I'll be waiting the photos and the mini review xD

@Piotrus-g, the Poseidon's have a 2015 as it's low, DTEC 30008 as it's mid, a TWFK as it's high, and a WBFK as it's super tweeter. Remolding the UM3X into a custom will get the user the ES3X. The only difference between the two are dual bores, and driver placements. Both of which can be achieve with simply a remold.

@Enigma87, the price should be the sane as remolding. Filters are free of charge, and so are dual bores.

The WBFK is absolutely gorgeous. It's a crystal clear, clean high driver. I would say the 2389 from Sonion sounds a little more full, but with two WBFK without a doubt will kick them out the window. It's just gorgeous.

I understand that Unique Melody can custom a UM3X and even add drivers to make it a 6 driver or 8 drivers IEM

Do you know what are the drivers being added and if it is a 3 or more way IEM after the re shelling and addition of drivers

I believe they add a Knowles CI, and a Knowles TWFK in. Both of which are already present in the UM3X. Not sure about the 8 driver version though. If I were to guess, it would be dual TWFK, single DTEC, and Single 3300.

The 8 driver is a 4-way, and the 6 driver is a 3-way.

Interesting, I think UM3X is good but cymbal-like sound is a little bit far. should I add extra driver and which one ?

It would be so awesome if MaoDi could write a guide on the different armature drivers and their sound attributes :)

I am interested in getting my TF10 reshelled. I already have my impressions done and ready to be sent

How much am i looking at for a reshell with a simple artwork and cable? Also how much extra for a pair of mid drivers?

I keep reading its $90 for a reshell but when i look at the UM website its nearly $160. Where can i get an accurate quote?

@ Flipfire, Reshell used to cost $90. It is now around $160 including shipping. Artwork is $40 more, and if you buy the cable from Westone (which is among the cheapest), it's $35 or so. Mid Driver would be an additional $200 or so due to the cost of drivers, and work put into retuning the monitor.
