Unique Melody designs a few models in partnership with local distribution in Japan. Maverick 2 is one of those. I discussed this a little in an interview with Lawrance a couple years ago on Audio Primate, if you want to read. It's a fun interview and how Lawrance and I became friends. He's a good dude, shame Unique Melody doesn't have him in the fold anymore.

I wouldn't know for sure, but I haven't known UM to completely change the signature of eponymous IEMs. To find out for sure you'd probably need to ask their Japanese distributor.

The design of this IEM reminds me of an upcoming Skyscraper coming up in London soon.
