Thank you very much for finding those out. I really appreciate that!
The JMoney pad looks interesting, have you tried that or similar pads?

Hi, could you help to share more information on how you did it and how you find the result? I think I have same comfort issue as you. Thanks:)

This is the result of an intimate date between my sig pros and a pair of J$ pads. The pads are a bit too big so they fall off it I fumble around with them too much but the fit is amazing and I even feel that the sound signature is more enjoyable; Slightly less aggressive on the higher frequencies. DEFINITELY worth it!

Thanks for your comprehensive information! Will check these out!

Lawton Pads are somewhat similar looking to J$ Pads. Although their fit look like it would be different.

Not sure if Audeze pads are compatible or can be man handled into the size of the Sig Pro's cups.

Different headphones, but maybe this can apply to the Sig Pro's to an extent or give some insight.

A few impressions with some different Ultrasones.

I seen something similar to this mod for the LCD-X posted somewhere in this thread. Might be worth a shot.

Thank G-d I have small but analytical ears:)

These and the SIG DJ's fit perfectly on my head and envelop both ears.

G-d may have given me a pot-belly but that's a trade off I'll gladly live with.

Thoroughly sublime!

I really preferred the cans with this mod. However, if the fit is too tight and pressing on your ears, simply shoving in some paper under the original leather pads to buff them up a bit can give you a little. That helped me in not getting too much pressure on my ears.

Thanks. After stretching the headband a bit, the situation has improved a lot!

I'm planning on getting my Sig Pros reterminated to accept Audeze-style cables in the near future. It's tempting to sell these as is and get a TH900 or ZMF Omni, but I want to see how far I can push these.

It'll probably be a month or so, but I'll post impressions when it gets done. :)

It seems to be kinda rough to sell these used atm. That or I'm incredibly impatient. Maybe both. The varying price depending on condition, usage, accessories, packaging and the individual's willingness to part with them seems to make a big difference as well from a seller's perspective. Waiting for a buyer that wants specifics and is willing to pay more/less depending on criteria listed just prior has me demoralized, lol.

You gotta find the right person at the right time for the right price. Throw up a popular [entry, low cost] product and it's like magic on ebay and such. Not so much with these. ;(
I really would like to receive either:
a) enough $ to nearly pay for my Omni pre-order entirely.
or
b) at least a decent amount of $ to take a chunk out of a TH900 purchase.

Out of curiosity, were you looking at BTG Audio or something similar for the retermination of your Sig Pro? I just seen them yesterday when pondering some other headphones that have connectors I highly dislike, but interest me nonetheless.

I definitely think Sig Pros are a bit more niche than a lot of other things out there, but at the same time I've seen similar situations with other extremely good headphones. Price is also definitely a factor; it wasn't that long ago that if you were willing to dig around a little, you could find them new for around $850.

And yes, I was recommended to contact BTG Audio. The quote was very reasonable. I might have him take a look and see if he has any recommendations for how to improve the comfort as well. I just accepted a job that pays a lot better than what I've been used to lately, so even if I upgrade to something else I'll likely keep these for portable use.

Anyone feels Sig Pro too bright? I am not sure whether they are too bright to me, but I do feel they are kind of fatiguing to me, possibly because of too good resolution and density? Or seems I may like more laid-back/effortless sound sig? I do sometimes feel that I like my modded fx850 more. It makes me feel frustrated, as Sig Pro is technically much better than fx850.
