My problem is, I don't hear well.  Normal portable source volume is not enough.  The X3 alone is barely barely enough.

They are 32 ohms so tuat can be taken into consoderation when choosing a amp for them. Personally i dont hear any ground floor noise with mine no hiss just silence ymmv obviously we are all usong dofferent rigs.

Bought the Sunricky $17 cable, it arrived yesterday from HK after a few weeks.  The day before it arrived, I found a brand new Logitech VI cable that I forgot I had!  I bought two last time from Logitech and completely forgot.

Question for the gang:
I'm choosing a new TF10vi cable after mine finally gave out... the only cables with a mic I can find are on ebay, 3 sunrickys, and one that looks very generic.  I'm choosing between 2, and while sunricky stated they're pretty similar, I'd love any advice either from experience or just from how they look:

The black cable looks thinner to me, so I'm worried about microphonics, but I'd probably rather the 45degree cable angle...

I had looked at their site, but didn't see anything with mic / controls; now I'll email to learn more.
 
I wasn't looking to break the bank on an upgrade cable (under $50 sounded about right), but was hoping to reach a minimum build quality that I wasn't sure sunricky would meet (I think the Fiio cable looked perfect, except they don't make one with a mic)
