I tried that before cutting them up and the tube inside has sharp edges and once reversed has zero protection from rubbing up against your ear canals.

Well if you want to avoid doing tip surgery next time:

My Triplefi 10 has arrived at 6:45pm. The UPS guy was smiling coz I was already standing outside the door before he pulled up. :)

First impression:

-Great packaging.
-Lotsa acessories.
-Cable seems okay.

First song played by Kaskade: Stars Troll. Was amazed by the amount of bass this guy is putting out. I immediately wore the Comply tips to insure maximum seal.

Will burn in this fella for the weekend.

I have at least 30 days to decide wether to keep either the Triplefi 10 or the GR07. :)

That's a great looking cable. If I keep the Triplefi, I'd probably upgrade cables too. Heard Dark Lord Cables are good.

But I would like a cable with mic and controls on them. Will the Logitech ones for the vi version work with the triplefi?

I read that this cable needs to be modded to be able to fit properly.

I'd like to get this, but I'm not sure if this fits...

Entice your wife to join the head-fi community. let her try both iems on her fav. music. im sure she would approve of both headphones. lol. just kiddin.

Nyways, fyi GR07 requires at least 200 hours of burn in to achieve its intended sound signature. quite sibilant at first audit. but tones down as you burn in. maybe you should only decide upon the 200 hour mark. i tend to switch between both iems with different music genres. music from Hans Zimmer (especially inception OST) just sounds incredible on the triple fi10s. GR07 is suited for many genres. its a very fun sounding IEM imho. won't get tired of it even with extended hours of listening.

I doubt that she would. She also likes Kaskade btw. But sometimes women just doesn't get excited with an earphone (no matter how good it is). Lol.

Yeah, I will get pretty good burn in on both IEMs since I have 30 days from Amazon. :)

Man, the cables on the TF10s are a bit annoying though...

I have a very important question about the box and packaging of these phones. Do the boxes come with a seal sticker or anything that indicates if it has been opened? I am waiting on mine to arrive and the carrier has been very late. Hence, I want to be certain that the phones haven't been toyed with or something.
