Yes, a few hours ago at the Fujiya Avic store. They were fairly similar to my experience that day with the Tralucent 1+2s. I like them a lot more than the 334s, as they don't have as much bass and the treble seems much clearer. Using a modded AK100, they have a very clear, open and wide sound.  People who like the bass kick might prefer something like the new Sures or the 334s. I would have bought them on the spot if I hadn't ordered JH-13s actually.

This sounds very interesting. But the 1Plus2 have very punchy bass thanks to the dynamic driver, so are they so similar ?

I don't know that it has been announced yet. The only thing I see is "BA and multi-driver"

I did think that was the case. Inside the nozzle i can see a red filter.

I spent a bit of time at the Alpha Design Labs (ADL a.k.a. Furutech) booth as they had a their new portable i-device/PC DAC/amp as well as a bunch of nice cables.

ESS Sabre ES9023 USB DAC; supports iOS and Android at 16-bit/48kHz via its USB A socket; USB Mini-B socket and 3.5mm optical output support 24-bit/192kHz. Comes in 4 colors I believe.

(below) upcoming ADL/Furutech Lightning short cable. This should be a popular option for those who need it.

(below) ADL/Furutech iHP-35M; terminated with a Furutech gold-plated 3.5mm stereo connector to a Furutech gold-plated MMCX connector; Cable length:Standard: 130cm (4.1ft); also available with 1/4" 6.3mm stereo connector OR XLR

(below) iHP-35ML; terminated with a Furutech gold-plated 6.3mm stereo connector to a Furutech gold-plated MMCX connector; 130 cm and 300 cm lengths; also available with Furutech XLR connectors

I'm about to get on the plane, so, being strapped to a seat without internet for a couple of hours, I will try and write up some of my impressions.

I can imagine the conversation when I get home:

Wife: How was the festival?
Me: The headphone girls were cute. Check THIS out!
Wife: *SLAP*.
