Liqueur.jpg

I've just finished reviewing the Penon Liqueur eartips, which you're invited to read here.

They come in orange & black, both slightly different - thoroughly recommend the black versions if you need tips with top-notch isolation.

What a marvellous first day of the Amsterdam Watercooler Meeting! So lovely to meet all these headfiers in person, sharing a common (and crazy) passion, listening to gear and having nice conversations. A few pictures below of the event so far. We have another half day to look forward to!

I’m chuffed at how virtual interactions have transcended to indelible bonds of friendship. Kudos to drftr, an homage to Jeff’s great work in bringing us together here 🥂

Fantastic day ! A massive thanks to @MatW and @drftr for organising the event and their hospitality.
Great to meet and chat to like minded folk who enjoy the hobby and are all clearly very passionate.

Until the next time !

I'm quite sad that I didn't manage to attend your meeting in Amsterdam. Your photos really reveal everyone's happiness and the good vibe that was with you. What a great meeting.
I'm currently undergoing tests at hospital and the worst thing that's troubling me right now is that it's been discovered that my vision has decreased dramatically in both eyes, whereas it was already poor before. I have no idea, I just hope that things will somehow stop now so that I can still travel to such a meeting like this in the future. Hey sorry,...
I would appreciate more photos from the meeting.

Amazing! Amster-Jam looks like it was a smashing success. Kudos to @drftr, @MatW and anyone else who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen. It would be great if someone could put Head-Fi names to some of these faces!

In other news, some more Maui photo highlights:

There are chickens running around literally everywhere here. I found one who is pals with a cat.

Today we got up at 3am and made our way to the sacred summit of Mt. Haleakala to take in the sunrise. Standing on the edge of the crater:

It may be easy for me to say. But a man hopes that you can be strong and stay positive. 🙋🏻

Awesome pics! Looks like you guys are having a great time. I wish I was there haha. Looking forward to seeing more photos and reading about it.

Whoever is listening to the Jewel in the fourth pic -- that's what it's all about right there. Arms crossed and straight up chillin', I'll assume he's having a great time because he sure looks like it.

Here's another place I wish I was right now... Miami for Ultra Music Festival. I'm watching Hardwell play live through a YouTube stream and Mjolnir, this little hammer does a fantastic job of making me feel like I am there that's for sure. I would have never guessed YouTube streams could sound this good.

It's me on the fourth pic and you are totally right. The Jewel was one of the best for me (thanks to @MatW), next to the Aura (thanks to @Alexzander).

Has this surpassed all of my wildest expectations or what! WOW, am I a fool for not joining you in this awesome event.

And as @Rockwell75 asked for, attaching tags to these faces would be perfect. I am terrible with remembering names, so if I start learning now, I might remember a name or two until our next Eurojam!

but you are selling both
I mentioned that is a great experience, but would that set beat my utopia on a totl tube amp? not at all.

If you find my post deceptive then 99% of members are guilty of the same charge ( praise and sell )

There is no harm I praise something and at the same time selling it

For me I prefer to invest in a top of the line tube amp and better dac for my utopia, yes I have the holo bliss, but utopia syncs better with tube amps

As for portable set ups, I feel I can accept down grading while upgrading my desk top rig
