IEM remix and rewind evening.

Rewinding to one of my first IEMs, UM MEST Mk2 - remixed with Eletech Project 8 Prudence and M17 in Enhanced Over-ear Headphone Mode (DC power). Goodness the bone conduction was working overtime with this trio - textural sub bass, deep layered bass that just wants make you shake your groove thang, tamed treble, improved mids. Goodness this is best I've heard Mk2 - colorful, energetic, boogietastic.

Note: Paired the the Mk2II + P8 Prudence with N8ii (less sub bass, still enjoyable but as visceral as M17 in EO-EHM and larger soundstage) and 3MAX SS (oddly not the best synergy - a bit flat)

Homage to what came before the EXT.

U12T next Traillii, out of my eight sets.
I still find both of these musical.

On Demo; QDC V14, MADD24,
and Odin all sounded technical to me.
Technical vs Musical balance to my hearing leaned too technical, why I did not buy.

u12t and Odin are perfect examples of IEMs that are brilliantly technical but not musical enough for me. YMMV.

Btw, this thread should be free of sponsors. đŸ˜‡

I don't mind when sponsors post here, so long as they're transparent about who and what they're sponsoring. Most/many of those guys are sincere in their love of the hobby and in our current economic situation this hobby would not exist without sponsors out there hyping gear.

I am getting a little concerned that EXT has also been whispering in your ear what to wear.

My love of purple started long before EXT-- it was yet another one of the reasons I felt that IEM was perfectly tailored to my preferences.

Pretty sure my place is right behind your head… ha ha

Ha...I wondered. I spent the weekend touring around with my exchange student and a family I'm friends with who is hosting another student. I'm glad the weather was nice.
