Hello friends, I finally have a “normal” name. 😂

My fav from childhood:

What's the tale behind the change? 🙂
For context for the name “8481”, I tend to default to it as my username on forums so I can be fast and not think lol. Did not expect to be a regular on Head-Fi. Always felt that a username here consisting of numbers only is kind of weird so I changed to chickenmgnug cause it is my first Character’s name on Classic WoW lol.

For further context, 8481 reads as “BABI” which means pig here as you’re probably aware of. For our international friends, this is kind of an insult here cause haram and Malaysia is a majority Muslim country. I don’t find it offensive and my fav meat is pork so 🤷‍♂️

Hey guys Does anyone know a good upgrade to CADENZA 12 I most listens to orchestral and classical Indian music. I want something with good layering and good vertical and horizontal soundstage.

Cadenza 12 and U12 are already reasonably accomplished.

You're probably going to start exploring into the multi-kilobuck IEM's e.g. Trialii ; Storm ; Mentor if you want to chase that last 20-30%.

Trailii and Storm are both all BA IEMs. *edit - BA with e-stats* Storm does bass better ; and I would give it the nod for technicalities. Trailii soundstage may be a tad wider, it has a more relaxed tuning and the BA bass is ... well acceptable for what it is. I haven't heard Mentor but from what I've read it probably would meet your brief.

They are both hybrids with e-stats up top.
Actually I am trying to get rid of my symphonium crimson and Elysian diva let’s see how it goes.

*blinks* For some reason I lumped e-stats in the BA basket. Blame that 3 hour baby brain sleep. #facepalm
And I'm listening to Trailii out of a Hugo 2 as I type this.

Eastern preference showing despite being down under. Kids love this stuff. Slather it on anything and they'll eat it.

BBQ is good. But we now have something called Tangy BBQ, which tastes like BBQ with lemon juice. It's horrible. Horrible.

Your McDonald's has Curry Sauce?

Tangy BBQ sounds wrong..

Curry sauce here, a lil too sweet for me though.

Not sure if this is the right place but, anyone have any recommendations for really warm IEM’s with a lot of good base. A lot of the stuff I’ve seen recommended here is really analytical which isn’t my thing. Ideally at $3k or less and actually comfortable to wear. I’m trying to find a fun listen.

This post has Trifecta written all over it. It does "fun" better than anything else out there imho. Ideally you could somehow demo Trifecta and the Xe6. both of which can regularly be had for $2k - $2.3k on the used market.
