Thanks mate :) That’s absolutely awesome. I’ll be busy in Bandcamp for quite a while!

No worries, sorry it took so long - completely forgot until tonight!

How do you like the FDX/FD7? Or let me re-phrase: What would you like to see improved in an MkII version?

I have just sent out a message to the Spanish Dunu dealer to see if it's possible at all to arrange a Zen Pro & Luna demo abbroad. Possibly we could make it a touring package. Just let me know in case you'd be up for that.

It’s just a very smooth listen. I suppose if I was to make any amendments then I’d ad a little bit more bass but nothing drastic.
Definitely would be interested in trying the Luna and zen pro :)

Will keep you informed.

How musically engaging is it if you compare it with, say, Ely and Andro? Is it just very nice to listen to or can't you get them out of your ears, so to speak?

@gazzington and indeed anyone else that appreciates ambient or electronic music of the more chilled variety. I was going to drop links to each album as a spoiler but it would be hard to navigate so I've listed in a PDF and attached.

I will have no doubt missed quite a few, just going through contents of my DAP - many of my albums still not digitized. I typically consider ambient in the true sense to have no beats but make exceptions for albums like 76:14 by Global Communication which has very minimal beats in some tracks, likewise their absolutely stunning reworking of Chapterhouse 'Blood Music' - Pentamerous Metamorphis which along with being one of my favourite albums ever, was thankfully reissued recently as part of a CD and vinyl set, of which I had to buy both! I'll link to Bancamp where applicable, otherwise Discogs. Oh and also naturally some crossover modern classical stuff here too. If I were to include ambient techno, I'd be listing for hours on end!

Anyway... in no particular order and spanning from the 70's to this year.
Thank you Scuba It downloaded to my Downloads file when I clicked on it. That's where it needed to be anyway

Christmas spirit beginning to kick in and no other song better than this to help me along. A magical piece of work, it has brought me to tears - absolutely stunning and gets regular play every Christmas in my house. Likewise the Low Christmas album.

I like his stuff but wasn't aware of this at all. Turns out he has a Christmas of 6 albums, can that be true??

Nice. Om Records put out an incredible Christmas Album back in 2008-- it's on Bandcamp I think.

This one is probably my fave:

Actually, on the subject of songs that can make you cry, this is another high on the list. It's not that it's sad, even though it is obviously in terms of Ian Curtis but it's more about the sheer emotion of the climax in the track. I'm not alone in this at all with this song, my daughter also cries and simply because of the power of the song. I've quite a few more like this - anyone else have songs of this nature, they have such power they bring you to tears, even though no connection as such to a sad event?

And by the way, yes I love the Joy Division live version and indeed the New Order version but this one is my absolute favourite. The build and explosive climax at 3.55 is musical genius, a work of art.

Yes I have one of his boxsets which is a collection of Christmas EPs, played on repeat on Christmas day! We start our Christmas day every year with this song (and album, it happens to be the first on the album) for the last 10 years or so - a tradition to put it on before the kids go to the Christmas tree. They are beyond Santa now but still a magical tradition. I'm a big fan of Low anyway, especially their first album, 'I Could Live in Hope'.

I'd say these two pieces will sometimes do the trick. :)

I suggest you buy Sony's WF-1000XM4 and I promise you you'll cry at all music! 🤣

Sorry @gLer

Beautiful, thank you. Classical is such a vast area to explore - never know where to start, especially as I don't really stream - not sure Bandcamp the place to go either! Do you stream these or have local files?
