Just read that one of my all time favorite guitarists, Jeff Beck, has passed away suddenly from meningitis. Wow, I'm kind of heartbroken over this! They should rename the whammy bar "the Beck bar". Rest in peace Jeff.

Yes, the first of the "Big Three" to go. Just listening to some Blow By Blow to mark his passing. How do you ever top "Cause We've Ended As Lovers"? What a unique musician who proudly went his own way and did his own thing.

By big 3 do you mean the 3 Yardbirds guitarists? (Page, Beck, Clapton)
Yes ... but even bigger, for me, the three legendary guitarists, at least from that era.

I consider Hendrix and Zappa (and probably Gilmour too) to be from that era also.

I prefer the holy trinity: David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury; the father, the son, and the holy ghost, respectively.

Fair choices. Have to admit listening to Jimi most of the time is a chore for me. Not sure why. And Gilmour ... well, I've got him all over my home office.

I'm not generally big on Hendrix either really to be honest but if someone said "big 3" from ~1967 or so his name would surely enter my mind.

Prince would like a word :)

I'm sitting here wondering if anyone might consider parting with just the leather case to the MMR Thummim. I can't quite swing new IEMs just yet, but I could use a bigger case for my current ones, and the design really grabbed me.

At this point, I'm just collecting cables with nothing to connect it to LOL

I briefly had "MacBook Pro 16in." listed as my source under my signature - until I decided to take it down to save me from embarrassment 😂
I too have more cables than iems. Cable addicts "anonymous"? I think that might be more embarrassing than MBP Pro

Well, I thought I was an aspiring high end cable person, but I'm not. I need the funds for other things. My custom cable is up for sale:

This is comparable to the eletech aeneid. 22awg pure silver with gold plating, palladium connectors, full fabric covering in bright blue, 4 wire with matching metal Egyptian y splitter and end jack. Hoping someone here appreciates it and can use it with some higher end IEMs.
My left hand knocking my right hand away from the PM button 🤣
