Yes, but did you try the Orpheus on the Traillii? That is where the features of both line up.
No, I didn’t. I didn’t expect much difference.

If you sit completely motionless the cable isn't that big of a deal :p

I've been eyeing the campfire cables because of how thin they are. It'd be nice if XINHS off of Aliexpress offered something but everything I have found so far is pretty heavy looking based on cables of theirs that I already own.

My Eletech Socrates is with @Rockwell75 at the moment. I have to say there is something to be said about the comfort and lightness of the ALO/CFA cables.

Obviously I miss my Socrates but the comfort of the stock cable is very good.

I'm no expert.

Source pairings are also important with the Andros, in particular, because the output impedance of your source can have a significant effect on the tuning: for the Andros, an output impedance below 1 ohm will make them bassier and warmer (too much so, for my taste, especially with the Andro 2020). Between 1 and 2 ohms is my sweet spot, which offers a more balanced sound that's closer to neutral. Above 2 and you get a touch too much brightness with the original Andromeda. For reference, I have the Sony ZX2 as my DAP because it's well known to synergize beautifully with the Andros and the Solarises (Solari?).

You might just be an expert on the Andromeda though!

I just acquired the Cayin RU6 and I am over the moon. It sounds so good with the Andromeda 2020. It has 1ohm of output impedance.

Trying to find the output impedance of the Sony NW-ZX507 to understand that.

Unfortunately my Father passed before digital photography was part of my life, and I did not have any shots in my film that I scanned.

I had my Mother and her Sister over this weekend and two of my three kids were home, my son would not face the camera you got his thumb here. I took the shot so not in it.
My mother is the one in the blue shirt.
It was today earlier.

There are not a lot of attendees here, so it is extremely easy to hear anything you want. There are several break out rooms for Headamp, Abyss, ZMF, Dan Clark audio and Eksonic.

Loved finally meeting Zach and Bevin from ZMF. They had well over 20 headphones of all types for sale and they had a lot of tube amps including their prototype collaboration and some custom amps. I already have bought the Verite Closed and Atrium in Koa wood. So, I used those headphones as reference sets and compared them against the new Auteur Classic. It is very nice especially at the $1499 price point. It is very competitive with HD800S and Arya in that price range. It has a nice warm sound and sounds great on their tube amps.

Went to Bloom and heard the Campfire Supermoon and Meze Advar. The Supermoon is technically very impressive and it is tuned pretty well. I can absolutely understand why @Rockwell75 loves it. I think its most noticable strength is its imaging and dynamics. Great resolution and you can hear every instrument with great placement on the stage. The only problem I had with it and the reason why I will not be buying it is that I did not like its timbre. I think this is just a personal preference issue and it was quite surprising to me since I love both DD and Planar timbre in the full sized headphone world. The Supermoon just sounded a bit unnatural to me at the same time I was very impressed with it technically.

The Meze Advar has to be one of the best builds of any IEM in the market today. It feels really nice in my hands. It has the traditional single DD sound and I found it a direct upgrade to my Oriolus Isabellae. I will probably buy one of these in the future for the combination of its great sound and great looks. But I am not buying it now because I have too many IEMs. I will pick it up once I reduce my collection a bit.

Went to Musicteck and got to hear the Fir IEMs again. It's so interesting how listening sessions can change over time your perception of IEMs. This time around, the KR5 was too bright. The NE4 had the best tuning especially with the LP6. I really love the LP6 and I am going back and forth on whether or not to buy it. It sounds a lot like the LP6 Ti 7AE. But Andrew tells me that the 7AE wins every head to head competition with the LP6. They sounded very similar and extremely awesome to my ear. My guess is I will buy one and get on the wait list for the LP7. Andrews says his wait list already has 35 people on it. This DAP is going to be spectacular.

This leaves us with the XE6. I liked it a lot more this time around. This time what I really liked about it is the bass impact. That is what grabbed my attention. All of the FIR IEMs have it. So, any of these IEMs would be great to own to get that sound. I would like to pick one up, but maybe I will wait until the next listen at CanJam Socal. I am very intrigued by the Stax headphones and my finally start going down that rabbit hole.

Also heard the Oriolus szalayi which is a tribrid with a DD, BA and Planer driver. I must admit, I did not like it. It was very bright and the sound was very incoherent. It looks like a Jewel on the faceplate but it's not the same.

The new Dita single DD is spectacular. It is a single DD with a big soundstage. I would like to A/B test the Advar and the Dita Perpetua. OMG. I just looked it up. It's priced at $2999 for a single DD. No wonder it sounded so good. I was really taken by this IEM because normally a single DD has a very small stage. Not the Perpetua. I will have to listen to it again. This would be my dark horse IEM like the Red Halo FE was at CanJam NYC.

More later.
Didn’t you listen Mezzo?
Musicteck got it

Exactly, AirPods Pro connected to my Apple Watch, where the music is stored. I don't take a smartphone or a DAP anymore with me when I workout :)
I was looking for a way to get FLAC files onto the apple watch, or even 320 kbps. It seems that apps like Spotify and Tidal are limited to 96 kbps on the watch, which doesn't sound that great. Any insights?

No, I didn’t. I didn’t expect much difference.
For me, that is where it made the largest difference moving the Traillii a notch higher. I have a theory that you need an IEM rich in detail to work magic with the Orpheus as the Orpheus does provide a touch of smoothing.
