In a nutshell, HM5 is quite treble light, more or less on the "dark side" and Pro80 is much, much brighter. Bass is quite good in both of them, with more extension on the Pro80. Both have a very good middle range, but with the Pro favoring male voices.

Hi guys, may I ask your suggestion between Pro 80 and Senn HD 449?
my focus is detail, noise isolation,SQ and comfortable and the build quality too...I usually heard wide range of music from pop, jazz, classical, slow, acoustic until R&B soul...
I also intend to combine it with fiio e07k

Isolation: even,, and none of them excels in this aspect.
Detail, SQ, Comfort, : Pro80.
Build Quality: Pro 80 by a huge difference, moslty metal (aluminum and magnesium) vs fine plastic on the Senn..

For the genres you menction i would go for the open version of the Pro80, the HI2050 (bass lighter and a bit opener), except if you need a closed headphone or you like a boosted bass headphone.

If you don't need isolation , i'll go with the HI 2050 too as it's far from being bass shy well amped !
Unamped, if you're not affraid by its dark tonality, i'll go with the pro80.
I do think both takstars are a step up compared to the hd 449

Hi,
I have the Qpad HQ-85 which seem to be the same headphones as the HI2050.

I would like to buy some leather pads for these headphones. As I am living in Germany I would like to buy them in a German online store like amazon.de if possible.

Can you suggest me some cups or another headphone model of which the pads should fit on the hi2050?

Thanks.
Daniel
