To me the Pro80 is the Hi2050´s polite sister, it is more laid back and less aggresive..
Now the proud owner of the Takstar TS-671, Takstar Hi2050 and Gemini HSR-1000 (rebadged Takstar Pro 80).
For the price I paid for the Gemini "Pro 80", they are a good value.
I think the Pro 80s sound a little better then the Hi2050s.
So far I've tried the Pro 80s with my O2 and Yamaha receiver.
Before i was holding off on getting the Pro 80s because i was hopefully they would be offered with Velour ear pads.
But the Pro 80s current leather pads are comfortable.
You should try to put the Brainwavz hm5 pads on them that makes them even more comfortable.
After reading threats about headphones under 100$, I decide to dive in with the hi2050 and get a Xonar DG. I play games, music , watch tv /movies on my desktop. I used to have a usb headset with mediocre sound. I will give my own little review once i receive them this week
Also I will most likely get velour pads for them, I can't stand pleather.
Which one of these headphones would be best for me?
I would be gaming (immersive) 75% of the time and music/movies the other. Mostly alternative and some opera.
Also I will most likely get velour pads for them, I can't stand pleather.
The Takstar Pro 80 (Gemini HSR-1000) come with leather ear pads (as far as i can tell) and I think the Pro 80/HSR-1000 sounds better then the Hi2050.
Any velour pads that can fit the Gemini or Pro 80?
