Pro 80 has better isolation?

I own the Gemini HSR-1000, which appears to be a relabeled Pro 80.
The Pro 80/HSR-1000 is a closed headphone and the Hi2050 is an open (semi-open?) headphone
So yea the Pro 80 offers better isolation.
I think the Gemini sounds a little better then my Hi2050.

For those prices!? - probably both.
I could have swore it was 50mm yesterday. I'll measure it with a caliper when I'll get back home.

I'm pretty sure the specs says 53 mm, that may not be the truth though

As I said. Checked the diameter with a digital caliper and it's definitely a 50mm driver.
Maybe Takstar decided to manufacture a new revision of the TS-662 with a 53mm driver like they did with the PRO80 by switching from coiled cable to a straight one.

I've got no doubt that you measured 50 mm, I've got less confident in spec sheets from manufacturers.

If you like the core headphone and dislike the driver you can always contact audio technica and order any of their 53mm drivers, Ad700, ad900, ad1000 and ad2000 for open and then a700 a900 etc for closed. At a reasonable rate.

I was actually inspired by casper to do just that. Even if I end up liking the hi250 I'll just get another and install the AD2000 drivers; I'm even roaming aliexpress to find a decent stainless steel mesh.
