Here are some pics of the separate hard cases I bought to store my new friends in.....the ISK HP2011 and the ISK HF2010.....

Here are my 3 favorite sets together!

I'm looking for a portable pair of closed preferably over-ear phones and the ISK HP2011 seems to suit my taste perfectly soundwise. But they aren't too portable, are they? Any suggestions of similar (preferably Chinese) headphones that fit the bill? I live in Taiwan so I have good access to Chinese headphones.

You can take a look at these, Takstar HD2000. They are compact and portable with 50mm drivers, though I don't think they fold.

So, after getting a bit of back-lash (on good ground) for asking the same questions that were discussed before, i have read up to 240pages of this thread. I will read the rest as well :)

I just pulled the trigger on a pair of the original Kingston HyperX Cloud. They are meant as a gift, but i will open them up and compare them to my Takstar Pro 80 since I haven's seen many side-by-side comparisons. They should arrive in the same day as a pair of Brainwavz pleather pads, so that will be a very interesting day.

Looking forward to Friday...

Sounds good. I believe they're the ones that come with a built in mike. Is that right?

I got them for 55$ shipped from a Danish sale-type website, which makes them 20$ cheaper than my Takstars, not to mention all of those nice things included. If they sound the same, then i made a bit of mistake buying the Pro 80 from China. On the plus side, I don't really want my headphones to scream "gaming" when i go outside with them. And so far, I quite enjoy taking them outside. They are quite warm in the Scandinavian cold weather.

Take a look at this bag of goodies:

Yesterday, I was able to audition the ISK MDH9000 for several hours. They have incredible "earthquake" like bass, which ironically don't "at all" bleed into the airy-like midrange and treble! They are full-size headphones that can really fold to a compact size with 2 detachable wires, hardcase and softcase. They don't have a mike built-in, but with that thunderous bass, I could imagine them being an incredible gamers headphones! The store owner is willing to sell it to me at 350 RMB ($54 US dollars).

So, I gave it some thought and decided to buy a pair today at lunchtime! They are just that GOOD!!!

These are some pics from taobao......

I'll post my own picks, once I get them.

Yea, it kind of does look like them. ......It definitely feels heavy duty and at the same time flexible and well made.

.....I just bought them during my lunchtime (China time). I'll be posting some pictures and my thoughts on them by tomorrow.

Do they make creaking sounds when you articulate them around?
