They are great. Similar flexibility and microphonics compared to Leonidas. Leonidas is prettier than a pure silver litz with the gold plating! Sorry, got things off track! Back to 64 Audio!
Music Sanctuary just announced their own prestige product: a modified A/U18 in collaboration with 64 Audio including the 1960's wiring, named 'Soundwriter'. It will be officially unveiled at Canjam Singapore tomorrow. I had the pleasure of listening to it today. Brief impressions on The Headphone List.
It was the reverse for me? Tried the MS U18t (k)? With the 2 and 4 wire, found the 2 wire had too much sparkle and the 4 wire much much smoother? I guess at this level of gears we may well both be right... preference right?

"...single crystal core PWAudio wires; specifically, silver wires for the signal, and copper for the ground. And of course, the hallmark ‘K’ solder is applied as finishing touch."
Wire count confusion sure doesn't make me want to get that cable. So one of them f-s up the treble but experts are divided on which one (Still thankful for the information though)
How is the 1960 compared to say Ares II+, pw audio no 5, Eros II+? For that money I'd expect the soundstage to be better and the tonality to be much more musical, some serious gain...
