The Tera is brilliant but very picky in synergy. Even more so than the ak100. For instance my Miracles which are low impedance work with the ak100 but not the Tera. But when you find a good synergy is.juat the most natural player there is.

Well that's good to hear.  I will be using it with a JH-3a, so I have high expectations on the sound.  All the other issues I can deal with.  The tera player at the end of the day was $1,200, and that just seemed really expensive for that little guy.

How do you connect the AK100 to the JH-3A?

I can't tell anything about Predator but I use xDuoo XD-01 with unmodded AK100 and I am very satisfied
 
Nevertheless, looking for advise - need IEM to stock AK100 (xDuoo use only at home), what would you suggest folks up to 200-300 bucks?
 
Thought about (preferably new stuff):
 - Westone 1
 - Westone UM1
 - AT CK100Pro
 - Yamaha EPH-100
 - AT CKW1000 ANV
 - Senns IE60
 
Another suggestions?

Indeed, I have seen solid core tri-wire mini-mini solid silver core go for 120 USD on ebay. That is way too much. I think what that cable is meant to do is increase bass which we tend to loss on AK100.

Vsonic GR07 Mk2 are surprisingly good with AK100 - they are 50ohm and have a very flat impedance curve so no real impact from the 22ohm output of the AK100.
