So how are you enjoying your player? How many hours do you have on it? Initially I was extremely disappointed. Goes to show how much burn in can have an impact on equipment lol. At least for me it didn't sound much better than a well used Sansa Fuze fresh out of the box :p.

The background of this player is pitch black and the dynamic range is huge! It is easy to unconsciously keep increasing the listening volume and that is dangerous.

Had around 200 hours on the player now.

What volume do you generally listen at? Generally I can go up to 30 (probably slightly under it to be ideal and safe) and be comfortable. If I go too much above that I start getting uncomfortable and fatigued.

I hate you guys, JH16s coming on Friday, no RWA AK100 yet until prob end of next week :/

How long did you wait for your JH16? It's approaching the 5 week limit now Heir had mentioned. Hopefully they are done real soon.... Getting impatient....

JH had quoted  a 30-35 business day turnaround before I sent my molds in. That's 6-7 weeks.

That being said, it was a little over a month for me.

Well I guess I should just be more patient then lol. I'm just excited to get them :).

Really hoping this will be a much better experience than the Custom TF10s....

No, but Nagra is the King when it comes to portable recorders. If they did I would buy it in a heart beat. SPKRS01 how do the IE800's compare to other in ears.

Not spkrs01, but here's my review of the IE800.

I have only had about 10 hours on my pair, I cannot posts thoughts, but James' review is very thorough and an excellent read!

Otherwise, I can PM you in a couple of week's time.

Apologies for off topic!!!

Look great for the cover, I would like to get 1 too. I got my 18pro last night and tried with ak100, I don't need to bring up the volume more than 28 but it much more better than se425, more smooth, details, bass are great. I just try for around 4 hours, I expect it will give me impression after 40 hours

I don't need a cover.  I would much rather have custom holster.  Right now, i am using a 5 dollar craftsman cell phone holster that i got from sears.  it fits up to the volume knob, and i can access some of the buttons directly or indirectly by pressing through the fabric of the case.   With the velcro flapped closed, it keeps it secure.  It also provides enough clearance to have my headphones plugged in.   It is good enough right now to keep the dap holstered and secure.  I don't have to worry about it falling out of my pocket if i am distracted.

It would be nice to have something that is custom fitted.   If anyone finds something like that, please post it.

Need to listen carefully to it and let-it burn-in a little before I can comment... but boy, this thing is small !

Now I need to built play lists.   QUESTION :  Is it possible to rename the playlists ?  So far it display "playlist 1", "Playlist 2", ....

Strange:  Some of the FLACS files display correctly a cover, and some ... don't !

I keept you informed

You can rename the file from a PC, not from the device.

FYI...I've been burning in my rwak100 for 100+hrs at 40-50 on the volume pot with IEMs with some success...in conversation with Vinnie, he recommends making a dummy load jack and running at 70...get some voltage going !
