Typical HF meet... Bunch o' peeps coming together to try each others' schiit. Because it's small (Calgary's an audio backwater), there won't really be much industry representation, so I reached out to some distributors and manufacturers and three bit. Deal is: show stuff at meet, send some back asap and keep others a while for play and review.

Yes they are I love them very balanced headohone and probably one of my favorite designs. I also have the MH30 witch have a totally differant sound sig were the bass hits hard but very controlled.

Me too! That's just gorgeous!


The amp is an ALO Rx and I need one like I need a hole in the head! I just caved when I saw it was the same price in CAD as USD at Headphonebar and in the 'limited' nickel finish. It's a one trick pony.......... IEMs only. No gain. No bass boost. It won't power any full size cans well. Considering that I'm 99.99999% sure I'll pick up an X5 II its a really silly purchase, but it's so pretty!

I thought thos would be a good time to post some pictures of my modded SR325is.

If any of you guys enjoy the soynd of your Grados but have problem with the comfort this is highly recommended :

I've put a HD600 headband and some oem velour pads fir the M50's on them.

Pretty damn comfortable!

 
Hows the headband fit on there? Got a big chunk o memory foam held on with elastics as my headband. Took it to our local tailor to see if he'd make a cover, but he wouldn't even try.
 
Are those other pads any better than the hm5? Might look into trying a pair of the hybrids or angled pads one day

I just bought the Aune T1 tube amp/dac for a really good price can't wait my first step into tube amps. I really would like to get Schiits Valhalla 2 one day.
