For the candidates of the reviewers: "A must read"
http://matrixhifi.com/ENG_contenedor_ppec.htm

Test Systems Values:
System A Estimated Value: 700 U$D
System B Estimated Value: 12.000U$D (or more)

In conclusion :
The results showed:

38 persons participated on this test
14 chose the "A" system as the best sounding one
10 chose the "B" system as the best sounding one
14 were not able to hear differences or didn't choose any as the best.

This testing methodology is hard to apply when it comes to HP and iem's because even if you close your eyes and have someone to help you, there is a big chance that you will know which equipment you're wearing...

Stereophile did a similar test concerning speaker wires and Interconnects. They had an "AUDIOPHILE" test group. using Identical systems. The diference being some EXTREMELY Exotic types of speaker cables and interconnects, you know like $1500/ Foot Totally hermetically sealed, pure Unobtainium along the Galactic Leyline type stuff and ordinary electric cord and Coathangers. That is correct: COAT hangers. (high impedance)

They could not tell the difference to a Man (Woman).

So when I tell you something is LIGHT YEARS ahead of anything else, I'm guessing.

MERRY Christmas!!! Labsters.

Here's my Christmas rig. Why? The Empire Ears Apollo keeps drawing me in with its balanced sound and large, 3D soundstage, and Aune's keeping me busy by releasing a lot of beta FW right now. They're really getting close to squashing all the bugs hakushondaimao and (amongst others) are identifying. In fact, this is the second beta I've gotten in two days

It's an upcoming addition to the LMUE's Alpha & Delta lineup. Can't say much about this one yet except that I like it
