Perhaps it's a sign they are going on "clearance" to make room for AP300?  You never know, though I still have AP300 listed under "vaporware" in my book.

Was listening to this combo tonight: HP GE 6080 5Star back + Psvane CV181 T-II front tube on DV336SE sounds best with Fidelio X2.

Since my rig is shared or lets say it better; invaded by some lovely factors, I think my new year period will pass with my other hobby... :)

Merry Christmas Labsters!

I dragged the family to my folks for the holidays and was rummaging through the old toy chest. Found a pair of Sony DR-5a headphones circa 1978. I'll be taking these home to listen. :D

You know your obsession with DAPs is too much when you bring 4 DAPs to your computer to add 1 album in 3 different formats  to your SD card(s), lol...

Lol! Pretty sure we can relate!

I know, right?!!

Man, I gotta tell you the SOUNDAWARE Esther Analog is one amazing DAP. So warm, yet so detailed. I'm constantly amazed. You wanna give it a go x RELIC x? It's a custom programmed DAC like Mojo. These SOUNDAWARE guys aren't fooling around!

Soooo tempted but I'll barely get the N5 review out and I'm back to slaving away at the job. Sucks but I have to limit all extra curricular activities for a while (like... August!).

Thank you very much for the consideration though! :)

It won't be for awhile, Craig. You've got plenty of time, and I'm flexible. It's worth a listen. Quite a unique DAP

This video is one of the greatest videos of 2015  -IMO- ...

It shows a successful sample of computer generated imagery as well.

I advise you to watch on a large screen, in full screen format and in full HD (with headphones or dedicated speakers).

A meaningful dedication... (watch till the end)
