Maybe, but you don't know how he got it. Might have been used, past warranrty, ex-girlfriend/boyfriend. Or it could have just fell in the trash on Accident.

Not to mention with most manufacturers when they detect you have cracked the unit open you have essentially voided any kind of factory warranty?

It's like a Mini Athena.

Warm Specialized midrange with great bass specialization and smoothed off treble. There is still energy for acoustic instruments that use treble clef. But it is a very great invigorating experience.

I should add
Those who prefer neutral or non colored will not like this iem.

I havent heard lyra 1. But they do use same drivers!

I believe it’s the same driver, different housing material, better cable, cheaper price. Is it an upgrade - not if you have the original (just buy the different cable). Is it a better proposition than the original - yes. Same quality, better price.
