Did you do any driver tuning using the included cotton vent papers, or is the driver pretty much stock and you just did a direct 1:1 swap into the stock 1840 shells?

Hey everyone, I've been snooping around alibaba looking for interesting drivers and found these foster clones, highly doubt they're the new denon d9200 drivers but they do look very interesting.

These ones are actually metal but I have a slight feeling they'll ring, but correct me if I'm wrong haha.

How does K99 without the tuning paper? Btw I am planning to make my own not-KSC75s with 3d printing and that seemingly Focal 40mm driver from alibaba

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a design choice just for the right earcup to balance out the weight of the cable on the left.
That's kinda smart.

yeah plugged the center hole with Y3 paper then opened a smaller one at the edge

the tuning paper is necessary or the bass will be too much and cloudy，especially 1840 has a cover above the driver

I have a set of Sony SA5000 and the right driver died so I bought the K100 Blue Empress 500ohm drivers and wow they sound fantastic IMO.. Great sound stage, dynamic, bassy, Smooth..

You gotta K99 to compare? Also can you compare this to Focal Clear/Elex or Elear atleast?
