The FreQ Custom IEMs - Impressions Thread (Updates on First Page!)

They wont take logo off unless u have artwork, its because they want to be known.

also, people who are comparing price difference:
the 90$ difference is from the professional molds that they have and its probably longer and more detailed. (FreQ show requires professional impressions so that they can make better molds)

and wow... mcchan or w/e white-white molds look... very interesting

Lets say I get the MM crossovers, and I get an amp. So everything's fine la la la, but what if one day, i decide NOT to us the amp. (bulky, inconvenient and stuff). Would the headphones EVEN SOUND audible or I'll just get crap noise when my songs are playing?

I'm sure it'll sound fine. It will probably just have more background hiss (MM is 20ohm compared to 22ohm ML SuperFreQ).

Hm alright, thanks.
Anyway, heard its not possible to buy em off the site yet!
Oh, and i think they DO allow special colours, since you're allowed to custom em. $12. I'm thinking of transparent red and black. For each side?

never really understood all that impedance stuff but i'm sure it makes a diff!!

just made my ear impressions today with a nearby hearing aid specialist. What exactly am I supposed to feel? Some say quite abit of pressure, some say totally nothing. Some say you can hear abit, some say total silence.
The custom molds aren't actually made past the 2nd bend in the ear canal are they? don't see any IEM like that, so why do we need the 2nd bend? Mine look like they do have the 2nd bend but it doesn't look too professional.. and there're slight dings here and there, is it gonna be very very bad?

It's possible to buy them off the site. You have to choose cord and colors first, then the Add to Cart button will appear.

BTW, they don't offer any transparent colors.

Heard someone mentioned that I can do ear impressions for free in Costco if I am a member. Anyone know how?
Just checked some close by Costco to do ear impressions, 2 costco only do it for free if you purchase their hearing aid product and another one charges $35 each ear. What the heck!!!
