The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

All of us who also follow the Tralucent Ref1 thread would have read about the excitement surrounding the unveiling of the Uber Too cable. Questions had been asked if there were plans for the Uber Too cable to be made with other connectirs like Fitear connectors.

I spent the weekend up in HK with Spkrs01 and CosmicHolyGhost. It was absolute fun. The bonus of the trip is I came home with the first Uber Too cable for Fitear.

I am still burning the cable in. But in the meantime, here's a photo of it next to the Ref1 (still with the original Uber cable).

Just received an email from Fitear. My MH335DW is finished. That was really really fast! Lest than 2 weeks. I'm so excited!

Congrats!! With Theorem too!! Gonna balance your cable?

Thanks! The Theorem sounds great with this earphone although the hiss is still annoying me in some tracks.

Yea, I really want to try balanced cable, already ordered one from Norne Audio. Let's see if balanced output has clearer background or not :D.

  (My) Holy Grail is here.

FitEar never seems to fail at the art of polishing them CIEMs. That gem like quailty never fails to impress me.

I received my Wagnus Diamond Dust for Fitear. This seems to be a good match for my MH335DW. I am not yet convinced with the ergonomics of the over ear guides, but the cable itself very flexible.

Agreed, I'm totally satisfied with the quality and fit.

I am curious about the faceplate area, if you don't mind can you take a picture of it please?

Sure. Let me know if you want to see more.
