If thhey manage to add the DAC-functionality this really becomes THE device. I find the X3 really impressive, the DAC is really good, I am unable to hear a lot of differences between the X3 and iBasso D4 with the same amp.

James, just curious - why is it so slow to skip between songs? Is it a slow processor? To me that and the lack of Artist>Album structure under category are the only two major UI problems remaining.

not, the Soc working in 528MHz, and it must because the database is too big which means there are too many sound files .

James some of my cue files make the X3 freeze whenever I enter the folder. These files are a single-file wav or flac. The cue is written in the standard format for a single album written to one file but the X3 freezes everytime.

Can you give me a sample of a single-file cue sheet the X3 will recognize? I can reformat the cue then. Thanks.

That's an amazing amount of honestly there James. Glade to see it!

I don't really agree with the "possible" OGG playback issues Its 100% there and you know it.
Nor would I agree with "small distortion" its quite noticeable more so on some songs then others.
The x3 is very good at highlighting this flaws..

I don't mind if I did need to move to FLAC , but you are selling a player that states it can play OGG which it clearly can not do correctly.
A bit more honestly around the OGG issue would be nice. I do feel a little cheated that it can't do what it says on the box correctly.
Nor am I the only one that has brought this up to. You also personally knew the x3 had issues playing OGG from the start....

I guess I need to use FLAC now

Anyway the improvements look amazing. I am still glad I brought the x3!

8. Under play interface, it can’t remember its store path after several returns (go back to main menu, then back to play interface, and then click the back button again.
11. Can’t automatically skip through folders (under order play, it would skip to next sub-folder, if there is any, after it played all the files of the former folder).

So if I understand correctly those 2.
It won't be possible to return to the tracklist everytime I press return when I'm on the playing screen, and the X3 won't be able to play all the track in the database (in Browse Files mode), only one folder at once ?

Is that correct ?
If so, that sucks because that's the only 2 complains that I have from the X3 :frowning2:.

At this moment, this applies, but you can always browse back.

you can play all, if they are all in one folder.
Use "play all" otherwise. (I've 2626 tracks)

Dear James..
I happened to notice the character decoding problems and forgive me if someone has already mentioned. All my songs/music cue sheets are playable using foobar2000 with uincode support but it is a great disappointment to find X3 does not support this. Please tell me people in Fiio are doing something about it.
Thanks
