i've asked before but i'm trying to get definitive confirmation:

The X3 USB DAC support will mean that i can hear my computer audio through the X3, right?

That's what a USB DAC is made for. =)
It's still unclear if it will work as a DAC/AMP combo only... It may include additional features as well (DAC only w/ LO and USB-to-COAX converter).

Unrealizable functions or unsolvable problems due to software framework and the base limit:
5. Can’t add the function of “Play by album “under artist option of play by category.
8. Under play interface, it can’t remember its store path after several returns (go back to main menu, then back to play interface, and then click the back button again.
When the “Memory Play” is on, it can’t remember current playing song’s store path after double switching on and off.

Sorry to say, but these 2 points are major UI failures (especially #5)

Is there still a hope to get these implemented when you will will completely refresh the X3 UI (after launching the X5) ?

thats IF they completely refresh the X3 UI, not WHEN. Also, just properly sort your music into folders and use browse mode for this functionality. its not a solution, but its a temporary workaround. Hopefully temporary.

So a 64gb card that was readable in my X3 isn't now. What did I do wrong? Well I know I accidentally popped the card out while the X3 was connected to the computer, but now I can't get my Mac to see the card so that I can add more files onto it. The X3 sees the external card and the music is still there, but how do I get the Mac to see the external card again? Thanks.

Have you tried turning the mac off and on again?

Ever seen "The IT Crowd"? 8^)

Can you see it in "Disk Utility"? If you can, then you may need to re-format or even re-partition. First, try a card reader if you have one though.

never. i happen to be in IT, and this is usually THE solution. ;P

Of course if you have any pending disk write operations, like, say, formatting an SD card, then things don't go so well. I suspect this is the cause of some X3 problems (well, not so much turning it off as unplugging it without ejecting/safe removing the SD card).

i suspect that in this particular case, the problem was that the X3 can't "install" an external card whilst being connected.
