Hi just got mine delivered today and in the unit there are pdf software and manual, in my case in chinese since it was ordered from China. I presume other markets will have corresponding manuals in the appropriate language.
Now I am going to test it out for the next few days!

You ordered from BH and received them already? Wow! thats fast. I placed my order and it still says On Order something......I wussed out and cancelled Mp4Nation order thinking if the player is defective I do not want to deal with the hassle of sending it back to Hong Kong.

No in the X3 internal memory there is an adobe pdf reader exe (54 MB), in addition to three pdf documents: the X3 manual, Fiio product brochure and Fiio company profile, all in chinese (of course also Dr. Chesky which is close to 3 GB!). YMMV for other markets.
