price is about right if it includes Tracked-Delivery by a courier... when I buy stuff from Japan I get two options normal signed-for delivery (national carrier) or I get the DHL/UPS option which normally is about x3 the price for shipping... they real key to this is if they'll mark as gift & put a low value on it to get around Customs, otherwise you're in for a nasty shock.

Hi-oooooo.... That's a brutal price. If the US retailers end up costing too much, you could always order from the headphonebar and send to a canadian (like myself) to forward to an american address. They charge $0.01 shipping and in my experience the item arrives within a week or two. Waiting a wee bit beats paying an extra $60 or whatever imo

Can I take a moment to tip my hat to Fiio.  Good thinking to have a digital out and a line out.  Now one can use a plain external amp or a dac/amp combo.....

Amen to that. Can't cost too much to allow both digital and analog out but the features sure make it a lot more valuable in the eyes of consumers
