Mine is a year old. Works as good as day 1. Battery life is about the same also.

I've got a DX90 and X5 for standalone DAPs and plan on testing out how well an iPhone with a lot of storage dies as a DAP when coupled with a battery-free DAC/Amp like the Calyx PaT or Cozoy Aegis.
