I received a similar email with a tracking number from Focus Camera today. No delivery date yet available. I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing what is in the box.

I own the Th-x00's and I just repurchased the x2's. You'll have great closed cans with bass head bass and a open headphone with nice low and and more extension in the treble with better soundstage.
The x2 with a vmoda boompro mic makes a sick gaming headset as well.

You're better off spending that money on a nice pair of iems or a good amp/dac.  The X2 and TH-X00 are a bit too similar to have both, imo.

I am gonna HAVE to get it sometime soon, as I have the EF-6 amp designed for it now powering my HD1000s (beautifully, I might add).  Yet there are a LOT of people that find the HE-6 / EF-6 faster with impact sounds like snare drum, and deeper in bass!
