So yeah, I'm thinking Tidal is maybe not worth double the price of Spotify, given the much smaller music library. Anyone know of any good deals for a new Spotify account?

I can't answer your question, but I will offer this. A game changer for me. I purchased a Sonos Connect and am pumping Deezer Elite (high res service with no drama) via wifi. The service was half price for a year with the Sonos. My Sonos is connected to my DAC via optical coax so no more wires from my Mac. I steer using my iPad mini although I could use the iPhone or MBA. The GUI for Sonos is great, easy to setup and use, and allows you to choose from most any music service (don't know about Tidal) that you have an account with. The Deezer UI on my iPhone and MBA have both been easy to use.
Best of luck, Still.

I think the standard is 1 month free trial. There are also deals for a 3-month IIRC but I'm not sure they're stilll doing that. I seen the a couple of times on those gift card racks at the groceries too with somewhat a deal but I didn't look close. Couple of places you can try..
Oh and if you know a student..they're 50% off.
Etymotic HF2 $75 (when added to card) from the MSFT store. Sales tax apply when applicable.

I'm old, I don't know any students any more. lol But I'll setup a slickdeals alert I guess. Doesn't look like there are any running promotions other than Sprint Customers and Students. Thanks, guys.

Don't know much about the Buckle, except it was a $150 to $200 can receiving solid customer reviews at Amazon. Currently it's back up to $115.

Are there any good deals on a decent quality microphone that (1) has an input for stereo headphones and (2) terminates into a 4-conductor, 1/8" TRRS connector for plugging into a phone or a jack that supports a headset with a mike?

Dang, that remote looks like a good reason to avoid that version of the hf5.
Wish it was below the Y-splitter.
