Not really a sale per se but pre orders of the Sony Z7 on Amazon are $699 and they're taking orders. People were expecting 899-999 pricing.

The XBA-Z5 seems to have the same price...

I've been seeing the Sony DR-ZX701iP on sale at Amazon for $50. How does it sound when compared with the MDR-V6 or MDR-7506?

Yes or No? Thoughts? Is it the same as a MDR-ZX700 but with a mic cable?

Seems like a great deal specially if you have the iDevice to pair with it. Build quality looks on par with the ZX1000!

There are "demo" pairs of logitech ue6000 for $19.99 including shipping from ebay.
Sorry, can't figure out how to post link with this tablet - seller is compuguys_2007

I bought a pair. They came with no acessories or box. They have a non-removable, black cable that has a Y-split about 1 m from headphone. One end of split goes to regular "male" headphone jack, the other end goes to a female jack.
Also the battery compartment appears to be sealed closed (well I could not open it).
These look like the ones that are placed in stores for demoing, the wierd cable is prob to attach to an anti-theft system.

Anyhow, mine looked new and after burning in (it sounded pretty bad at first), now sounds very good.
For $20 I think this is a solid deal, as long as you are ok with no box, or accessories, and the wierd cable.

And huge thanks to the person who posted the t-shirt deal - I got one for my guy, hope he likes it!

I looked at the ad, and they were quite straightforward with it being a store model that doesn't have 100% the functionality of a standard ue6000. I suppose it'd make sense that when a store no longer demos something like this it has to go somewhere. If you'd never use the NC feature for a little bass boost, at least I think I remember it boosting the bass but I never really use the feature, this very well might be the best thing you will ever find for $20 in headphones.
