FYI, these are some FUN headphones. The earpads are easily removable and I was able to fit some Meze 99 earpads on it that increase the soundstage a bit (closed back, so it's still limited), improves imaging, and still retains the powerful solid bass slam.

I can see these as perfect for movies or any bass forward genres. Clarity is good. $39 is a steal. A little large for mobile use, but perfect for home, office, etc.

That's the impression I got from reading a few reviews...

Went the cheap route though; as if $39.99 wasn't cheap enough! :wink:

Don't really have a decent sounding inexpensive, basshead-ish can that I can leave laying around...thinking movies as well!

Yeah, these are great for movies. DEFINITELY not good for "monitoring". LOL!

Do they still only let you re-download your music for a limited time after purchase? Took a bit of back and forth to get them to let me re-download about six purchases made over the past two years, after I had a hard drive failure. Said it was due to terms with the music labels, but I didn't have this problem with 7digital/Onkyo Music.

EDIT: Doesn't look like it. Found my login and my order history is blank.

@groucho69 @DDDYKI
I've been a fan of HDTracks, but was disappointed they never kept track of my past orders. The new site has no record of past orders or the Wish List I had generated on the old site, which was handy when they had their 25% site wide coupon. PonoMusic (long ago Neil Young backed) always promised Remasted higher bit rates would have free downloads when available....but that was before they went under. Best just to back up, or as I now do just ask Alexa to play any Hi-Res selections for the catalog in the sky (Amazon MusicHD).
