Still there for me, you may have to be a Prime member for the $255 price to show on checkout.

I canceled because I did not realize the USB was only for 30 pin Apple, and the spdif on the back is an output.

Tried it just now, and I can confirm it shows up as $255.99 once you start the checkout, with Amazon Prime

Still valid now.

Yes the $256 for Prime members is still good on the Foxtex HP-P1.  Price does not show til checkout.

Long Head-Fi Thread on the HP-P1 here.

While it comes with a 30 pin cable, the owners on the thread indicate the DAC works perfectly with current iPhones, iPads with a lightning cable, no adapter needed.

A vintage but somewhat classic model, 3 gain and 2 filter choices....I am giving the sales pitch because if I was an IOS guy I would buy it.  Can't use it with my Chromecast Audio cause the SPDIF optical is an output.  The USB does  not work with computers, just IOS.

  Amazon.com HD600 package deal

Wasn't sure if I should post this here or what; I haven't posted on Head-Fi much... but after searching I can't find any discussion around this deal:

Amazon.com has a package deal on the HD600's which includes both a pair of the Audio-Technica M30X and a Beyerdynamic DT990 for $399.

I won't put a link as I don't know what is or isn't permitted anymore, but you can just search "Sennheiser HD600 with Audio-Technica M30X and Beyerdynamic DT990" if you want...

I'm in Canada but I'm thinking even with exchange this might be a great way to try a few headphones out, all for around$100 more than the price of the HD600's alone. In the US it's only roughly $80 more than the HD600's alone.

Seems like a pretty good deal. Any comments?

Thanks for this post!

I own HD-600 and like it more than HD-650.

This bundle is basically buy the HD-600 and get the other 2 headphones for free + free shipping with Amazon Prime.

Amazon was out of stock, earlier, but back in stock now. I just ordered. I'm planning on trying them for gaming by adding an Antlion ModMic 4.0 uni-directional mic.

Auralic Aries Mini- $549 with 1 year free Tidal.  I think this is probably available from several places but I just placed an order from Audio Advisor.  They have the white version in stock and expect to get the black on 12/08.  I was looking to buy a second laptop for the bedroom setup but did not want to pay a lot or spend 4 figures for a streamer.  This pushed the right buttons for me especially as I already have an Auralic Vega. I can't get a link to paste but am sure you all can find it.

  1. Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Professional Photo Inkjet Printer net $150
  2. Or better still Bundle such as below for net $250 http://www.adorama.com/ICAS120Z.html

They had a similar kind of deal on a Rebel last year. But beware: that printer is MASSIVE. Just huge and the ink itself is like $100 for refills. But I got the rebate and it worked well.

Awesome, glad that brought it to your attention.

Now correct me if I read it wrong, but are you saying you now own two pairs of HD600's? Or did you used to own them and sold them and are now re-buying?

I've heard of that happening with these phones... people figure they can find better but often end up returning to them. I'm still wondering about buying them since they are quite a bit more in Canada, but they are so well thought-of, I just may...
