Yes, the EQ on my iPhone 4 does work with the HP-P1. I don't believe it overrides anything, just changes the signal out.

I'm actually happy it does as I find the non-eq sound to be very light on bass. The Electronic setting suits my tastes the best.

I started using EQ apps to bring the bass out a little but found players like ONKYO sound so much better than iTunes that additional EQ was not needed. I leave the EQ off.

Is there any chance someone could measure the PCB dimensions exactly for me?

Width. PCB edge to edge.
Height. Lowest solder tab to top of battery.
Length. PCB edge to edge.

Cheers

Doesn't work with MacBook.

if you want one anyway, I may sell mine>pm me. I have way too many portable setups. It works well, good audio for iPhone or iPad.

looks like there is no such thing as customer service when problems arise anymore for most companies. Its either a long wait on the telephone or unanswered emails.
But there's one thing good, we pay hundreds on personal gratification🤓

I've only tried once.

Maybe try the dealer you bought it from?

That was essentially what I did. I went to the fostex website. They advise that you email the U.S. Dealer.l if you live in the U.S. I have not gotten around to emailing Fostex directly. Not sure how to do that at the moment. I'll look into it.

Try emailing Moon Audio and see if they can help you. They carry the HP-P1.
