Ok Thanks guys I will see what I can do with the headband, maybe padding it or something though it is starting to get more comfortable and only after long listening periods it's starting to hurt.
 
About the amp, It will not hurt having one will it? 

, I don't care getting something like the FiiO E9 or Schiit Magni, but only one problem, my ports on the back of the 2i2 are balanced TRS, how will I connect it to an RCA port on something like the E9 or Magni? Excuse me i'm kinda noob at audio and will really want to get into it

Hello,
I am planning to get the DT250, but which one should I get 80ohm or 250ohm?
It seems 250ohm need a good amp and dac to drive it , it may increase my budget.
Do they really have a noticeable difference? Should I just go for 80ohm without amp?

The DT250 do seem to have reliability issue. Mine has one channel cease working after 3 months.

This really helps me a lot , I think I will go for 250ohm and  modi/magni stack.

Reading various full-size headphone items on this and other forums just underscores my feeling about the DT250-250: it's one of the best purchases I've ever made because it's so good, so balanced, natural, and unfatiguing in sound and fit that I just don't really do much headphone shopping anymore. Good for all the wide-ranging musical genres I listen to.
 
This is a great thing - no more compulsive wondering what else may be out there, spending time and money. Every other 'phone I have or have tried immediately falls short of the overall sound of these Beyers. Most are immediately annoying by comparison.

I've got a Beyerdynamic DT 250 80 Ohm. Will building an adapter with a 170 Ohm resistor turn it into the Beyerdynamic DT 250 250Ohm?

By the way, I'm using this EQ on the DT250-80. This is what makes it sound flattest in my opinion:

The DT250-250 seems to have a bit leaner bass and also more treble sparkle than the DT250-80. No idea if a resistor would help with that but I have read somewhere that the driver itself is slightly different so in that case it would not help.

A resistor wouldn't make it the 250 ohm model. Tou would have to tweak the voice coil to make them the same.

I'd say it's a resonance peak.
