The BEST-LOOKING Headphones

I think HD800 is a good looking and great sound.

I never seen the hd800 before, but I hope it doesn't feel the same way as the hd700 because I was shock at the hd700. It felt really cheap for a $1000 headphone, in picture it looks great, but in person it's just okay.

The HD700 is made out of plastic so it really underwhelms in person, but the hd800 don't. They are very light in person, but they are all aluminum and feel great.

Um... the HD800 is plastic too. The top of the headband is pretty much the only metal part of the headphones save for the meshes.

However, just because something is plastic-tasitc doesn't mean it's automatically bad. The HD800 felt incredibly solid and well put-together when I tried it out at a meet.

Though, the silver paint was quite disappointing. You'd think Sennheiser would give a $1500 headphone a proper finish, or at least one that didn't scratch off at the mere contact of a fingernail...

The HD700 to me didn't feel solid, but then again I can see them they put more into the HD800 to give it more of a solid feel.

I agree on that part, almost feel like a toy.

Is it as bad or worse than the M50's build? Most people claim its a tank but I for one think the M50 feels way too loose and rickety.

M50 plastic feels thicker so its seem sturdier. I say worst for the HD700.
