Further to my post yesterday, I didn't have any disconnects, but I did have three <0.5s dropouts over that 3 hour period. Interestingly these all happened whilst I was sat at my desk with the phone in front of me, not when I was walking around the office to the printer / coffee/ etc.

Agree that transparency is pointless, luckily I only ever bought these as wireless play music, don't care about transparency, volume control, voice assistant, etc.

With regards to fit, I find that they fit and seal relatively well, not tried running with them yet, though the idea of twisting the iem to lock it in to your ear doesn't work with the way my ears are shaped. In fact doing this pops them out of my ears, still I get a good enough fit just pushing them in. I have some spinfits from one of my many TA purchases I'm not using with any of those (prefer their double flanged tips), will give them a go later, thanks for the suggestion @Midgetguy

I'm also in on the Eoz Air, just filled in my survey, going for the all black (yes I'm boring, also went gunmetal for my Phantom Air, if it ever turns up).

Hey all, I want to share a neat story.

One of my coworkers used to have a huge escort addiction even though he's married. He went to a therapist and they couldn't help him. He's gotten hooked into audio hobby ever since I let him listen to my ifi Black Label DSD and my Empire Ears Athena.

He has since devoted his hobby money instead of hiring escorts/prostitutes into buying headphones and portable AMPs for at home and work listening. His wife came by the other day and got me some cool gifts for getting rid of his previous addiction that his therapist couldn't, she's a lot happier knowing he's home every night.

Except she's might not realize her husband might fall in love with his headphones more than her :p
dun dun dun!!!

Ha ha. I don't even know where to start with this...

One thing I find funny and interesting is how one would even know that a co-worker has an escort hobby. How did that come up in watercooler conversations without sending Human Resources into a harassment tizzy? (I don't really want to know. I'm just asking a rhetorical question on this one.)

What I do want to know is if he is really saving money, or if the overall expenditure is the same?

And do they have enthusiast forums, like Head-Fi? (I don't really want to know the answer to that either!)
When you join, do they say, "Sorry for your wallet." ?

BTW. Love the Meze 99 Neo. Been listening to them a lot lately. Just trying to keep this a little bit about Head-Fi.

@JaeYoon shows how crazy the human mind works.

1. he admitted to have a escort addiction to his co-workers, especially to a female. i can understand guy talk.

2. his wife knew he had a problem and was ok with it as long as he was trying to get help. (i find this most intriguing because of what he was addicted to)

yes there are forums for enthusiast just like they have ones for strip clubs too. Theres forums for everything now a day, theres even a forum for trading drugs

:astonished:: " " -----> speechless.
A classic case of an addictive personality, quite sad. But at least he's into a more healthy addiction now :)

I pledged for the storm trooper color for the Phantom Air. Let's just not talk about this thing :p

AHEM, I believe the term you're looking for is "classy" :D. I also went for the all-black color. And my reasoning was that with the different finishes (or what looks like different finishes) between the antenna loop and the shell, I figured that would be a fine choice. Plus, the renderings made it look like the plated part was kind of a matte/brushed finish and I liked that in black.

Careful note on using Spinfits with your Liberty+: they won't fit in the charging case anymore. The charging case (like other wireless IEMs I imagine) only accommodate their stock tips and since the stock tips have a super shallow length for the bore, there's basically no space in the tip area of the case to fit anything other than stock tips. I have to take my tips off to put them in the charging case. And for most people, that's probably a dealbreaker for the fuss that it causes.

Now, like @Howlin Fester said, does it cost him any less money? :p

I only knew of his addiction when his wife came up to me about it. I'm definitely sure, she felt comfortable telling me something, that no one else in our workplace knows about. :p (okay well, I honestly have no idea)

HR is also not aware of my conversation with my co-workers wife, unless I explicitly tell them.
Even then, that is a very stupid thing to do. I'm not trying to get him fired.

yes @chillaxing is right, I'm pretty sure his wife would divorce if he was not seeing a therapist or some form of help to get off his addiction.

But I think it might be TMI to ask him how much his headphones and 3 desktop amps he just bought cost vs the rates he pays escorts.

:p I probably will not ask him LOL. Let's just leave it in our imaginations!
So if we assume, he pays a high end escort every week for $500 a night.
v.s a Mr.Speakers Aeon with a schiit mjolnir.
That's $800 + $849.

I honestly don't see him saving money so far. He's planning to buy more stuff. Perhaps long term if he stops buying gear?

I finally got my hands on a pair of KZ ZS6 today. I had cancelled my order with Massdrop when they emailed me saying it would be over a month past the expected shipping date. A friend of mine didn't cancel his order and told me I'd "done messed up", lol. So I ordered a set from Gearbest. I have to say, for less than $30 shipped, I don't think they can be beaten. Crazy good for the money and better than some I have/had that cost much more. Are they perfect? Of course not, but price to performance is something other companies should pay attention to.

I like the ZS6, well worth the money, saying that I have Rock Zircons in my ears right now rocking to Coheed & Cambria. Great sound, sometimes cheap iems touch the spot
