My first new car cost less than that.
Yeah mine too. I purchased a reconditioned 1963 VW Bug in High school for $1600. Fortunately I've moved up in the world so I can buy stuff like this if I want to. I just don't want to spend that much because I've gotten to the point where the small gains are really not worth it to me for 5X the cost.

So look at this.... Go all the way to the bottom of this link. Three of us loungers are tops in posts this month.

So, you did not see that the other day you were at the top for the day, week and month? There was also a day when all five of the daily spots were occupied by Loungers.

My first car cost me less than most of my cables, lol. A grand total of $40 for a 1978 AMC Concord that had been wrecked bad and bent the frame. When it was "fixed" they never pulled the frame so that when it went down the road it did what is called dog walking. It's where the rear axle doesn't sit straight to the front tires so even tho the car is going straight down the road it looks like it's ever so slightly turning left or right, lol. Hey, it was $40.

ROFL...... Yeah right....

But you have to take inflation into consideration. That same car would cost close to $11,000 today.

Terrible car. But cheap.
